Dr. Francine Bono-Neri

Ph..D., RN, APRN, PNP 

Dr. Francine Bono-Neri is a pediatric nurse practitioner, academic nurse educator, researcher, health policy advocate, and leader of numerous professional organizations. Dr. Bono-Neri served as a Director-at-Large on the Board Of Directors for the American Nurses Association for the state of NY and is the Immediate Past President of the Long Island Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She was inducted as an Associate Member into the New York Academy of Medicine, and as a Nurse Leader into Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. Dr. Bono-Neri is the recipient of the prestigious 2019 NEF Jane Eleanor Knox Scholarship, was awarded a Legislature Citation for her extraordinary efforts in serving the students and members of her former hometown community. She was selected as a Graduate Nursing Student Academy participant in the AACN’s Digital Innovators Program and has since served as an invited mentor for other students in the program. Her current and future scholarly work remain close to her passion for pediatrics and academia. Dr. Bono-Neri is the Co-founder and President of Nurses United Against Human Trafficking, P.A., a professional association created for the sole purpose of abolishing modern-day slavery by educating, equipping, and empowering healthcare professionals. She is a published author and invited speaker on her research and advocacy efforts surrounding the topics of Human Trafficking; and Infant Safe Sleep, SUID, and SIDS. 

Tammy Toney-Butler

 Tammy Toney-Butler, a sex trafficking survivor and lived experience expert is the Founder and President of Reflective Spaces Ministry, a faith-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working directly with adult and adolescent survivors of human trafficking, sexual assault, and childhood adversity on their journey to become whole. As a nursing professional, Tammy served as an emergency department nurse for thirty years and currently works as a Forensic Nurse Examiner/Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. Tammy is a published author and subject matter expert on human trafficking and trauma-responsive care. She has publications featured in the National Library of Medicine (PubMed) and is an international speaker on human trafficking. Tammy's extensive presentation list includes speaking at the United Nations and World Health Organization's Year of the Nurse and Midwife Civil Society Briefing, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners - Long Island Chapter, American Nurses Association General Assembly, the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Naples Woman’s Club Empowering Woman’s Luncheon, and the Bonita-Estero Woman’s Club. Tammy has been retained as an expert witness in a human trafficking case, served as an expert panelist on network television, and is the co-founder of Nurses United Against Human Trafficking, PA. Tammy credits all her healing and success to Christ. She sold everything she owned and answered the call God placed on her life. In 2020, A&K Ranch Ministries, LLC, and Nurses United Against Human Trafficking were founded, and in 2021, Reflective Spaces Ministry became a reality.
