DR. Angie Millan DNP, RN, FAAN

Dr. Angie Millan served as Nursing Director for Children’s Medical Services (CMS) at the County of Los Angeles’ Department of Public Health. She is an adjunct nursing professor in Los Angeles, California.

 Dr. Millan is a past president of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN), and served as a Committee Member, on the Future of Nursing 2020-2030, National Academy of Medicine report, she currently serves a member of the Chamberlain University Board of Trustees, as Vice President of the National Council of Ethnic Minority Nurses (NCEMNA) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and serves on the Cultural Expert Panel Committee.

 Dr. Millan holds both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from California State University and earned Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Western University of Health Sciences.
